Well we decided to go after 10am in the hope of avoiding the rush hour traffic. We drove to the Warnbro train station which is closest to us. There are two types of parking "Park a Ride" which is free and "Pay & Display" which is not and I think there is a guard there looking after your car while you are not there (don't quote me on this it is just my perception as there are some sort of office there).
Well it looked like many others were also keen to test the new orange line with families everywhere. Even though Warnbro was only the second stop on the line there was only standing room on our carriage. Needless to say the train filled up a lot before we got to Perth about 30 minutes later.

After a late lunch we made our way back to the station to catch the train back to Warnbro station. We made our way to platform two and boarded the first train. It turned out we should have listened a bit better. This train only went as far as Cockburn station and we had to get off and wait for the next run which would take us back to Warnbro.
